Nature's Miracle Pet Stain & Odor Remover

Product Overview:

Nature's Miracle® Stain and Odor Remover is the perfect solution for any pet mess. Accidents, grass stains, mud, vomit, blood, and odors are no match for Nature’s Miracle’s bio-enzymatic cleaning formula. Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor Remover works to eliminate many organic stains and odors. When used as directed, Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor Remover may be used on carpets, hard surfaces, clothing, kennels, and carriers and is ideal for stains and odors caused by dogs and other pets.

Nature's Miracle® Stain and Odor Remover goes to work quickly to break down tough stains and odors!

Begin by wiping away as much of the stain as possible, then thoroughly soak stain with Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor Remover.
Tip: Ensure that Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor Remover reaches all of the stain, including carpet pads and subfloors where the stain and odor can spread far beyond what is visible.

Wait five minutes, and then wipe away stain with cloth.

How it works: Our bio-enzymatic formula specifically reacts to organic stain and odor matter and works to eliminate any traces—unlike other products that may simply mask stains and odors. Because of this reaction, you may notice that the scent temporarily increases. This is normal as the product works to lift and break down the waste. The scent will diminish and dissipate as the drying process leaves you with an odor free area.

It is important that Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor Remover is allowed to dry naturally (sometimes taking up to two weeks).

Tip: Keep pets away while treated areas dry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible New Scent I absolutely hate this new 'odor control' formula. It seems you just added perfume. It smells awful and the smell lingers, and has given me a headache with just one use. I have sensitivities to smells and chemicals which is why I have used NM for years because it did the job without the added perfume smell. Sadly I now have a headache and a gallon of smelly liquid I cannot use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad New "odor control " scent I bought a used chair from a thrift store that was in good condition. It did not smell like the thrift store. Preemptively I used the new odor control NM because I have cats and now the chair smells like gain laundry detergent oddly enough. It's not a good smell despite those commercials. Anyway enzymatic cleaners/deodorizer should smell like nothing afterwards not this weird flowery powder purple smell.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ugh why did you change it?? I've seen you have responded to other people with the same complaint. I am confused that you are reformulating it later this year to "be closer" to the original. Why can't we just have the original again? Everyone loved it....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible! We used to love Nature's Miracle. It was exceptional at removing stains and odors. That is, until they "improved" the formula. The current formula is terrible and a waste of money. It no longer eliminates odors. We will never buy Nature's Miracle again unless the true original formula is brought back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hate the new fragrance We have used Natures Miracle since 2003 when we got our two dogs. We loved the product and have recommended it to many friends and family. We own rental property and have used the product many times. Recently, when we went to purchase, the original formula was no longer available. We purchased anyway. First time we used it, we only used 3 squirts. Within minutes, I had one of the worst headaches ever. We covered the area with baking soda to absorb the smell and left home. The odor was still there when we returned but not as bad. Now we have a gallon of product that we can't use and wouldn't even give to an enemy. Please change the formula back and let us know when you do. Please! It worked great so why change it???? I would recommend the old product but not the new!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrendously Strong and Lingering Scent Like countless others, we have ceased using Nature's Miracle (after decades of use) because of the overwhelming scent. I have sensitivities, and the scent actually makes me sick (literally), but my wife does not normally have sensitivities and the scent bothers her. Please, please, please, please (did I say please?) bring back something close to the scent of the original formula (as you promised someone else on this board), so we can start using Nature's Miracle again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New scent is horrible. We need "unscented" back. We've used Nature's Miracle for years. Recently got a new bottle and found that it smells exactly like some horrific toilet-bowl cleaner we tried years ago. I won't use the new formula. Period. Would bring it back to the store but it's not their fault. This stuff is awful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Improved means bad perfume scent I have relied on this product religously for years. I have multiple dogs and use it weekly to freshen carpets, spray their beds, etc. But no where on the label does it say that the improved formula is perfumed. It is so heavily perfumed my dogs wont go near their beds. I'd like to get my money back since I buy this stuff by the gallon, but I didn't keep my receipt. So sad. This was a great product!

Hi, Stella13. Both of those products are unscented. One is specifically for odor while the other can tackle stains and odor.

Hello, as I'm sure you are aware, your new formula smells terrible, doesn't work as well as the original, and is being passed off as such. Do you still make the original? If it's not broke, Don't fix it. Was loyal customer for 10 years. Looking elsewhere.

Asked by: Jc3712
We're sorry you do not like the scent, Jc3712. The previous version is no longer made. There are no plans to bring it back currently. However, we are working on a new formula that will be much closer to what you are used to. It should be available later this year and we hope you'll try it!

Will mixing stain and odor remover work  in my Hoover carpet shampooer or should I just use it as instructed on the container. My wife wants to use as a carpet shampoo and I disagree, what is your take?

Asked by: Rich7626
Hi, Rich7626. You should not use this in the carpet machine. It should be used as instructed on the bottle. If you are looking for a product to use like your wife wants to use the Nature's Miracle Carpet Shampoo.

Hello, How do i remove the smell of the product from the carpet? I treated the stained area (vacuumed off the cat vomit then used as directed), but the carpet smells terrible from the product scent.

Asked by: frustratedcatlover
Hi, frustratedcatlover. The products scent should fade over time. To speed up odor removal, you can clean the area using a carpet machine. You can also try sprinkling the treated area with baking soda, waiting at least 30 minutes, then removing the baking soda. You may need to do this several times.

When will the original fragrance FREE formula be available again?

Asked by: Kirsten
Thanks for asking, Kirsten. The version prior to the improved odor control formula was not fragrance free. Due to feedback about the strength of the scent, we hope to release a new version, closer to the previous, later this year. Be sure to check back for updates!

Is there an option to buy the original formula somewhere? I feel like it worked better and this new scent smells horrible and makes me wheeze. The old product hardly had any smell to it and did a perfect job getting the urine out of things.

Asked by: Jmg43142
Hi, Jmg43142. We are sorry that you do not like the new scent. Unfortunately the previous version is no longer being made. Some local pet stores may still have stock. We are working on a new formula slated for release later this year that will be closer to the previous version. Until then, we recommend using the unscented Nature's Miracle Disinfectant Stain & Odor Remover.

Stain Removal:

  • Wipe away any excess stain-causing material, and then soak the surface thoroughly with Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor Remover.
  • Wait 5 minutes, and then wipe away stain with a cloth. For tough stains, use a stiff, bristle brush.
  • If the stain is not completely removed, re-soak area and allow Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor Remover to work for 1 hour before wiping with a cloth.

Odor Elimination:

  • Thoroughly soak the entire area with Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor Remover. For carpets, apply enough to reach the urine penetration in the pad and floor. This may mean lifting the carpet and applying directly to the pad and floor.
  • Allow the product to air dry. Depending on air circulation, carpets and upholstery may take up to 2 weeks to dry completely.
  • If after 2 weeks there is still an odor, Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor Remover has not reached ALL of the odor-causing material. Pinpoint odor source and repeat cleaning process.
  • Keep the product away from children and pets and do not allow pets onto the treated area until it is completely dried.

Laundry:

  • Saturate areas of fabric affected by stain and odor with full-strength product, then wash as usual.
  • Always test surfaces to be treated for color fastness by applying to a hidden area and wiping with a cloth. If color is removed from the test area, do not use Stain and Odor Remover on this surface.
  • Always use Stain and Odor Remover at full strength for best results.
  • Use Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor Remover before any other product as cleansers and detergents may chemically “set” the stain.
  • Stain and Odor Remover is not recommended for use on silks, leather, or suede.
