Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great for large cats, and multiples BUT.....after owning for about 2 months the side broke apart. VERY THIN material. It is beyond repair. I paid $39.99 at a local store. I will NOT buy this particular CORNER box again!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oval Hooded Cat Box Litter box cleaning is not the highlight of my day, but it doesn’t ruin it either. When I decided to change the type of our litter boxes (two (2) of them) for our three (3) adapted cats from "Friends of Gummi" in Naples Florida and being a Private Investigator, I did my research and found Natures Miracle "Just for Cats-Oval Hooded Cat Litter Box", my first choice. They are well made, the odor blocking plastic & non-stick surfaces has made the chore of cleaning the litter boxes a lot easier! Greg from Naples, FloridaBoxer, Smirnoff & Grey Goose (aka Goose)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Litterbox Love the fact it is non-stick. Have used your litter boxes for the last 6 or 7 years. My only complaint - Put a handle on the top of the hood!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from non-stick surface ?? The inside surface is nice and slippery for non-sticking cat litter. Then Why did you put a big sticker on. It took me an hour of scraping to get it off with a 6by 8 inch square of glue left behind. kind of counter- productive don't you think. I even tried soaking it for a couple hours ,no luck.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed due to Crack I really liked this litter box as the top easily opens to scoop. As a breeder, I bought several. However the bottom of one cracked after a few months- at over $30 each I expected more. I've emailed a request asking to replace it. Until then just one star.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst litter box ever. We bought this litter box a month ago so we could have an extra one in the basement for our older cat. Horrible design flaw... as soon as a male cat urinates in it above the rim where the lid sits, quite a bit of urine leaks out of the box creating a pool under the box. It took my husband and I 45 minutes to clean and de-scent our tile floor and clean the crusty urine off of the lip around the lid and base. It's as if there's no lid at all sometimes. Super unsanitary and disgusting to clean. What a royal disappointment in this Natures Miracle product. I've had cats for over 13 yrs and NEVER had this problem with other litter pans. (We replace them every couple of years.) My advice is to skip this product and spend your money elsewhere. I see there are similar complaints about this problem on this review page without a response from the company. Seriously disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great litter box! Just one small issue To open I got 3 of these litter boxes because they are roomy and I have a couple of REALLY large cats who can move around in them. Also 2 cats that were rescues that have privacy issues and like the privacy the hood gives them. The small issue is - I have a 16 1/2 lb ginger tomcat who is what I call a "stand up kind of guy" in the litter box. I got the boxes initially because of him spraying my walls (not good) The problem is that about half the time when he uses the box, he sprays where the latches are and the urine drips out onto the floor. I use puppy pads to line the are around the boxes because of this. It just seems to be a really silly design flaw that I would wish could be fixed. Just to add a little more of the lip in the area of the latches would really help those of us with "Stand up guys". Otherwise, like I said, I bought 3 of them.

I'm having trouble finding the jumbo litter liners that your staff has said will work for your Hooded Corner Litter Box. I'm guessing they have to be ordered because none of our local Pet stores carry them.

Are there litter pan liner bags that fit this? Purchased for a larger cat to have easier access, and it works for that, but my old jumbo liner bags are too small for this.

Asked by: EdmoreMark
The Nature's Miracle Jumbo Liners are recommended for the Oval Hooded Litter Box. These liners fit most large and jumbo litter pans.

Is that GIANT logo on the top of the box permanent or can it be removed.  No offense but I don't want that large of advertising in my bathroom.

Asked by: Rainie
Hello again Rainie. The logo is permanent and cannot be removed. If it really bothers you perhaps it could be covered with something like a sticker.

  • Fill litter box 2”-3” high with litter.
  • Scoop clumps and remove waste daily to ensure maximum freshness and odor control.
  • Add more litter as necessary to maintain depth of 2”-3”.
  • Always wash hands thoroughly after handling used litter.
  • Since many cats dig holes, litter may spill over the sides of your litter box. To avoid this, use a scoop to grade the litter so that it slopes up on the corners and side of the litter box. This will maximize the depth of the litter where the cat urinates most frequently and allow absorption to occur before the waste reaches the sides or bottom of the litter box.
